I have some very sad but happy news. The happy part is that someone turned this precious dog into me. The sad news is that it seems like this dog has known nothing but abuse and neglect all its life. I thought he was a puppy considering how tiny he was but he is 3 years old. He is so underweight and has not been fed for who knows how long. Someone poured what seems to be Acid all over his back and head. Who could do such a thing??????? The acid ate away at his backbone and absorbed internally causing major damage to his spine and GI track. His poor little back looks all twisted up. It could be from an infection from the chemicals or from abuse. I immediately took him to the vet and he is on a lot of medications to help get his tummy feeling better and his nerve pain to go away. I have him on a special diet that will help with future arthritis and joint pain. I would like to start lazer treatment on his scarring to help relieve him of some scar tissue, inflammation and nerve pain. We need donations for this sweet baby boy. We need to find this sweet baby a forever loving home that will show him that not all humans are evil and cruel. We need to find who did this to him and demand JUSTICE!
If anyone would open their hearts up to adopting this sweet baby boy he will love you forever. He is full of love and hates being left alone for too long. He seems to get along great with other dogs and kids.
I will get some cuter pictures of him soon because these pictures don’t even do justice of how cute this little guy is.
Please considering donating to help us pay for his medical care. Any amount helps. DONATE NOW
Meet our newest member of the family, Gratia. I found an amazing foster for Gratia and we were able to save her from the shelter. She was ran over by a car and broke her pelvis. She has been in the shelter for over two months since her accident. Her surgery is scheduled for this week and she is expected to make a full recovery. Gratia is about 1-2 years old and a black lab mix. She is the sweetest dog who is so loving and happy. Once she is recovered from her surgery she will be available for adoption.
Her surgery is very expensive and any amount of donations would be appreciated.
Princess’s before and after pictures
I rescued Princess almost a week ago. She was scheduled to be euthanized and her sweet face stood out to me and I couldn’t allow that to happen. She was confiscated from her house after being left on the balcony for three weeks without food or water. We believe her owner or owners were extremely abusive to her. When I met Princess she wouldn’t let anyone touch her and she would flench if I put my hand anywhere near her. Now she begs me to pet her face and will jump in my lap rubbing her face on me. She is such an incredibly smart dog. She loves going on walks, playing fetch, and rolling around in the grass. The first few days she would almost bite our hand off when we hand fed her treats, now she is as gentle as can be. Its been amazing watching her progress in such a short amount of time. Im hoping that she will continue to get better and feel safer each day so we can find her an amazing family that she deserves.

It has been such a joy watching Daisy get happier and filled with more life as each day goes by. I have never seen such a happy dog. I wanted to share some photos of her, and as you can see her face is filled with so much happiness and full of life. I have been able to wean her off of her pain medicines every 8 hours. I still give them to her as needed. She still licks her hurt areas because of the nerve pain and she clenches her teeth when she sleeps but she has been wanting to move around more and more each day. Will let you know how her next appointment goes, but until then this is what she’s been up to 🙂
